Hamlet Shop Rework (2024!)

I wasn't able to get all the most interesting interestingnesses of the rework in the screen shots, so here are the details:

The general ideas are
- Lowering prices of stuff that stuff that you were making at home or getting on your own due to the exorbitant prices
- Increasing the prices of late-game and imported items so you won't have exhausted everything by the end of the second season cycle
- Encouraging alternatives to committing swine genocide when possible
- Adding imported items but always, always making sure they don't upset the resource economy of the Hamlet world
- Balance! Balance! Balance! for the traders and the shops, so you don't have to kill every other pig except Usher Pigs
- Note that this mod is conceived for a Hamlet world without world-hopping! I hesitated on this because people have different ideas on world-hopping, but it's just simpler and nicer to decide on the issue and to stick to a Hamlet world without world-hopping with its resources and its scarcities, meaning that this mod ups the rewards and costs of items that are rare in Hamlet and vice versa. MAYOR
- Home Ownership Deed of Swinesbury now sells for 20 oincs
- Buying the Construction Permit will now cost 100 with the Key of the City, but still 50 at the Mayor's
- Secury Contract costs 20 on your own and 10 at the Mayor's
- Building your own house with the Key of the City costs 100 oinks
- Also sell Cobbleroad Turf for 2 oinc.

DELI
My Favorite rework. The shop now sells every single crockpot dish at a lower price (except Warly's), for example, perogies at 8 oincs, turkey dinner 9 oincs, dragonpie at 10 oincs, coffee at 15 oincs, nettle rolls at 5 oincs. Because according to the mysteries of capitalism, mass-production should always to be cheaper than making stuff at home.

GROCER
- Vegetable prices raised: Carrot, Sweet Potato and Pomegranate now sell for 2 oincs and Eggplant 3 oincs
- Price of Meat decreased to 3 oincs
- Tallbird Egg, Doydoy Egg, Dragoon Heat and Jellyfish all sell for 5 oincs.

MUD SPA
- Prices lowered to compete with the foods sold at the Deli
- Furry Bedroll at 15 oincs
- Red Cap for 1 oinc, Cooked Seed Pods for 1 oinc, Honey for 1 oincs

GENERAL STORE
- Prices lowered: Axe now 2 oincs, Pickaxe 3 oincs; Pitchfork, Shovel, Machete now 4 oincs; Bugnet decreased to 10 oincs
- Added minerals: Iron for 2 oincs, Alloy for 10 oincs
- Added equipments: Hammer and Ballpein Hammer for 5 oincs both and Shears for 5 oincs, Piggyback for 80 oincs; added Magnifying glass for 10 oincs; Lantern added for 10 oincs
- Pick/Axe added for 50 oincs, also included a fix that Pick/Axe can also hack.

FLORIST
- Prices raised: Berry Bushes now sell for 20 oincs, Pinecones at 10 oinc
- And Volcano items: this idea is not mine and I credit DigitalFreeloader for it: added Elephant Cactus for 20 oincs, they will be directly plantable in the Hamlet world to simply things and also because turfs look ugly in the shop
- Seaweed for 20 oincs
- Unfortunately the Florist no longer imports coffee bushes ever since the Beauticians' Guide assassinated the last coffee merchant to save their monopoly on tea...

MINERAL EXCHANGE
- Price of gold will start at 5 oinks and will go up 1 for every gold you buy!!! So save your Pangoldens!

And to the Palace Town:

ODDITIES
- Removed: Glow Berries, Catcoon Tail, Bamboo, Beefalo Horn, Goose Feather
- Added Bat Hide (otherwise known as "Pig Skin?") for 10 oincs - there should be alternatives to committing swine-icide.
- Added Spider Eggs for 500 oincs (expensive!)

HATSHOP
- Removed: Winter Hat, Catcoon Cap and Beefalo Hat
- Mant Helmet for 10 oincs that the Hatmaker sells as a cosmetic hat without ever suspecting that it's also a helmet

TINKERER'S TOWER
- Brain Jelly Hat for 300 oincs and random blueprints for 10 oincs as a cycle item
- SW mob housing: Wild Boar House at 200 oincs, Doydoy Nest 200 oincs (remember it's in the Survival Tab!), Dragoon Den 100 oincs, Prime Ape Hat 50 oincs
- Ice Maker for 100, Fish Farm for 200, Bee Box for 500
- Spear Launcher for 100, Boat Cannon for 100
- Cloth Blueprint not added because smashing pots is fun
- Dripple Pipe's Blueprint is removed, I'm not sure whether this was an error on Klei's part, but Pipes are currently craftable in Hamlet without blueprints.

MAGIC STORE
- Removed: Fire Staff, Ice Staff, Slurper Belt, Nightmare Amulet
- Red Amulet decreased to 20 oincs, Dark Sword decreased to 40 oincs
- Glommer Flower for 100 oincs, and the Deconstruction Staff for 100 oincs! (now you can Tentacle Spots by deconstructing the Feather Hat! and have a lot of fun getting rare resources by deconstructing stuff, including getting the Particulate Purifier!)
- Krampus sack for 1,000 oincs
- Houndius Shootius at 500 oincs. Note that these turrets have been hacked by the Pig Police, and will not shoot City Pigmen.

WEAPON'S SHOP
- Prices in general decreased, Tooth Trap decreased to 5 oincs
- Increased price of Cutlass Supreme from 50 to 80
- Fancy Helmet and Tin Suit for 40 oincs! Cheap because these are supposed to be a local industry
- Added Bee Mine for 20 oincs (now you can make Bee Box!); added Obsidian Spear for 120 oincs (super useful in Hamlet, especially for the End Well, because it lasts forever)

PALACE
Another Royal Gallery Exhibit is now available... the Royal Treasury with 500 oincs.

And now the traders:

BEAUTICIAN will accept Plaptine Quill. Her reward is upped from 2 to 5 oincs.

FLORIST will now pay 3 oincs for you Petals and Lotus Flowers, but still only one per day!

PROFESSOR now rewards 20 oincs but will only accept one relic per day - except at the Museum, but they only pay 10 oincs per. Just like so many real world professors frustrated at their posts in official societies and thinking about their private collections and...

BANKER will pay 20 oincs for your gems! but will only accept one per day!

USHER PIG will accept Postcards and Queen Malfafas, being an old fan of the Royal Family.

Palace Town traders:

HATMAKER's reward is upped from 5 to 6, double the amount that the collector gives for silk, also considering how rare silk is in Hamlet. She will also accept the Swashy Hat.

HUNTER will accept Snake Skin and Venom Glands and Shake Bones and Spy Glass and will pay 8 oincs considering how rare these are.

COLLECTOR will accept Beard Hair, Bone Shards and Bat Wings, and most importantly, Weevole Carapaces, but as a trade-off, Pigs and monsters will now eat Weevole Carapaces (realistic since it can go into the Crockpot).

ERUDITE will accept your Dark Petals! And will pay 7 oincs because that's the magical number and also to make the daily cooldown worth it.

RECIPES: This mod will make available a few Shipwrecked recipes, that become possible because of the available ingredients, but are not really worth a spot at the Tinkerer's Tower: Sails, the Monkey Ball, the Bee Hat, the Thermal Stone, the Cactus Armor, Obsidian Firepit, Armor, Axe and Machete.

I would be glad to set up configurations, the thing is that I cannot really think of how to divide the mod up into independent parts. Feel fre to comment if you have requests or ideas.
