[Vanilla + DLC] Multiplayer Storage

描述
Introduction

I believe ONI is great singleplayer game that does not need any multiplayer features like shared control of the base etc. Despite that, many people search for different ways to play with their friends and family. One of the forum users suggested this mod and I believe this is the only way ONI could be played as "multiplayer" so I decided to mod the idea and see how it goes.

How it works?

The mod adds new building, Multireality Storage, that you can build only one in your base. It acts like an usual storage during the game, but when you save the game, it saves its content under specifed path (by default in mod directory). When you load the game or build Storage in other base, the content will be reloaded. As a result, you can share your resources between many bases owned by your friends or family.

Settings

Only one Multireality Storage can work in a given moment. You can't build more of them and if for some strange reason another one would try to activate, it won't be possible. If you are sure that you have only one Storage opened, but it won't activate, use OneTimeEnforceControl setting to enable the storage - it will override safety protocoles in case something was not correctly saved in your last game (eg Black Hole encounter).

Using StorageFilePath settings you can specify the path where the mod should save Storage content. Use it if you want to keep it outside mod directory. This path will aslo be used to save data about current Storage ownership to make sure only one Storage is opened at the moment.

Why is the storage saying "storage occupied" regardless of what I change the OneTimeEnforceControl setting to? It is completely unusable when it is impossible to access the storage.

The file should be created in mod folder once the mod is started

Hello. Would it be possible to elaborate on how to configure the storage location? (I cannot seem to find these "StorageFilePath settings.")

The building is a storage. You can store items inside.
If you build it in another save, it will contain the same items. You can use it to move resources between saves

At the same time - no.
It loads the content at the beginning of the game and saves it in the end. One player must stop playing so the other one can access the storage

@Telifex yes, it should, I see no reason why not. I have no friends so I never tested this scenario, but I designed it with this idea in mind
