Elevator Drone Prefabs

This mod adds a combination button and functions to the Underground Elevator to allow for Unpacking and Packing drone prefabs.
The drone prefabs can be shared with any other Hub, Rover or building that uses drone prefabs.
Dont struggle with assigning drones to the elevator anymore.

Multi Realm
If you havent noticed it yet, the surface "city" is disconnected from the underground "city".
These are realms and they are programmed to be separated by the game.
Prefabs cannot be shared.
Hovering over the button tooltip you will see a summary of all prefabs for the surface and the underground.
Prefabs can only be shared in the same realm. That is a game limitation.

Sharing prefabs
Each realm can share their own prefabs.
You need to make the prefabs in a drone factory or pack them from another building/rover in the realm before being able to deploy them.
The underground cannot take prefabs from the surface and vis versa.

Assigning drones to the Upper and Lower elevators
The elevator acts like two drone hubs and that can have many drones assigned to them.
The surface elevator is one drone hub and the underground elevator is another separate drone hub.
You can manually assign drones to each but its easier to use prefabs.
To assign drones to the upper elevator, pack a few drones from your local Drone hub or rover and then unpack them at the surface elevator.
To assign drones to the lower elevator you must initiate a drone supply request from the upper elevator for drones.
Those drones wil come down to the lower elevator and become part of the lower elevators' "drone hub".
Optionally you can pack those very same drones in the lower elevator for distribution to other underground buildings and rovers.
Perform these step in reverse to bring rovers back up top.


This mod rewrites some code for the elevator to do all of this.
If you ever want to turn the mod off during the game and return to vanilla, there is an Options/Mod Option menu to do so. (Not Mod Config Reborn but the built in Options)
