EMD F7 Santa Fe Hi Level El Capitan

The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, often referred to as the Santa Fe or ATSF, was one of the larger railroads in the United States, named after the cities and towns of Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe. It's mainline stretched from Chicago to Los Angeles and was the operator of the famous Super Chief. Santa Fe ceased operations in 1996 when it merged with the Burlington Northern to form the BNSF.

This train is modeled after the EMD F7 series of locomotives The passenger train is based off an actual consist used by the El Capitan which was the all coach consist counterpart of the Super Chief that ran between Chicago and Los Angeles. Each car has a unique name/number on it from the actual consist. This version of the train uses some of the first long distance double level passenger cars known as the Hi Levels. Eventually these cars made their way to Amtrak and were the base for the later Superliner Cars.


Comes with automatic engine reverse feature: spawns the engine in front of the direction the train goes. comes with custom sound effects for movement and horn.
