Paige comes from a wrestling family in the UK - her parents, Ricky Knight and Sweet Saraya, are both wrestlers, as are her brother and half-brother.

Paige signed with WWE when she was only 19. She debuted in FCW shortly after and stayed in the development system through the promotion's rebranding to NXT. She became the inaugural NXT Women's Champion and never lost the beltm instead vacating the title after she debuted on the main roster.

On her main roster debut, Paige captured the Divas Championship. She stayed in and around the title picture over the next few years, winning the Divas Championship on one other occasion and was a central figure in the Women's Revolution.

In 2016, Paige suffered an injury, which was followed up by two wellness violations. She had a brief comeback in 2017 before suffering a serious neck injury that has kept her out of the ring for years.

Paige has taken on several non-wrestling roles in the WWE since her injury, including a stint as the GM of Smackdown Live.
