Someone on Reddit needed some mods uploaded to Steam, because they only own the GOG version. Thus, I give you this mod. All credit to Copper_Monster, whose steam account is a contributor on this item. Give him some accolades!

[HH] Rim-Hivers! [Faction Leader Fix]

This fixes problems with the Hiver mod that i noticed:

-If using the mod "Show me your hands" the hands were white, now they are the correct hand color!

-Faction leaders for the hivers are set to be queens, but queens are so rare that i have never seen a wild one and they don't spawn and the tribes don't get a leader, this is now set to a prince for peaceful tribes and a soldier for enemy tribes.

-Removed the "Violent" requiredtrait because the game doesn't like doing it, and if you invade a tribe the game gives up and doesn't spawn anybody so the hive base and its just free stuff. Now the tribes work correctly.

-removed the requirement for vanilla heavy armor cause it is also looking for the Hiver armor modded clothes causing and ignorable but distracting red error, so just use the kenshi hiver armory mod with this!

-Lowered the Clothing restrictions for the Hivers:
everyone can wear vanilla expanded boots.
the prince and queen have no restrictions anymore.
the soldier have some hats unlocked, just pretend they cut eye holes for these helmets.
workers are largely unchanged but i removed some like simple helmets or hardhats.

-all hiver meat has been changed to one type, the others exist within the game dev menu but butcherwise you will only see one type. "hiver meat"

hey nice work! ill add the defunct tag to this mod since the update essentially does most of it and im happy with the changes.

To keep you guys up to date: I added the meat patch, removed the plate armor requirement for now, and added the hand patch (however the color is the same color as their chins and horns aka. chitin) I also added you both to the mods credits. I hope this helps a bit if you want anything edited with your mod!

i think since your version is more lore friendly for keeping the queens ill link it in the description as an alternative to mine, since yours counts as a legit patch while mine is a butcher of stuff i prefer,
and well both be defunct depending on what vexed decides to take from either of us in the future :)

Figured out how to fix it so the Queens will spawn as faction leader. If you want to incorporate it until Vex can get an update out feel free and I can throw a [defunct] tag on it. I backwards engineer things and patching hurts my head...so it'd be appreciated, lol.

Would it be okay if I included a few of these fixes into the base Rim-Hivers mod with credit to you and CopperMonster? I've been a bit strained for time lately and haven't been able to fix these issues myself.

fair enough, i like these changes and i dont care as much about kenshi lore over my own enjoyment but i know some will. thank you for at least trying it out.
