Barrier Type A Destroyer

The Barrier Type A is a light and simple destroyer with relying on straight forward and simple tactics in combat. The goal was to build an inexpensive APS based destroyer with only simple active defenses.

The Barrier is armed with two railguns that double as CIWS cannons along with eight medium missiles. The rear CIWS also doubles as a gun when needed.

The thought behind the barrier is to provide fire support and take out projectiles while dishing out consistent damage when not needed. The Type A is meant to be a solid and well rounded escort ship.

Defense wise, the barrier relies on the CIWS systems along with a few multipurpose interceptors. The barrier has decent armor and speed as well to cope with its lack of active defenses.
