Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II/A-10 Warthog

The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a Close Air Support (CAS) airplane coupled with some of the most powerful weapons and ordinance a non-bomber class plane can carry.

Featuring a 30mm explosive cannon that fires at 3500-4200 RPM (heavily limited due to how besiege handles recoil).

A Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) that can be dropped using the cockpit's reticle while going down at an angle.

Recommended: Infinite Ammo and Explosive ammo

Controls:

R - Turns the engines on

W - Throttle up

S - Airbrake

A/D - Yaw left/right

Arrow keys - Roll and Pitch up/down

C - Fire the cannon (you can hold the button, no need to spam)

T - Drops the bomb and activates the bomb camera which follows it until it hits its target

F - Cycle between cameras

Q/E - Raise/Lower flaps

B/V - Retract/Deploy landing gear

This plane has 2 speedometers, the first one measures cruising speed, the second measures max speed, be warned that reaching max speed might break the plane.

Using the airbrake at high speeds will often break the wings.

Firing the cannons at speeds higher than cruising speed will destroy the cockpit, and sometimes the entire plane.

The flaps are only used for landing, do not deploy them for turns or take-off, the plane may stall, that's why they're retracted automatically.
