Half-Life 2 Background for Main Menu

描述
This mod will change L4D2 main menu background with 5 HL2 backgrounds. This version got no music or sounds so it will not conflict with any menu music mods.
How to Install:
-Subscribe to the mod. Download it by starting up the game and then quit.
-You will need GCFScape to be able to open the .vpk file
-Extract the backgrounds to your media in left 4 dead 2 folder.
Make sure to make backup of your old backgrounds in a separate folder.

It should appear in your addons folder, look for the city 17 picture to quickly find it.

whats the .vpk file called?

figured it out, gotta unsub from everything else but this addon so GCFScape only detects this addon

Im currently stuck on the GCFScape part
I have it installed but IDK where to look for the VPK for this mod, help please

Thank you. That is a good idea, I might do that. I especially like Pre-Steam/Original Half-Life 1 background.

this is very cool
have you considered making a second background collection using different HL2 menu scenery?
like the Citadel, Water Hazard, Highway 17, Street Wars or White Forest?
or maybe a "Half-Life:Source" menu backgrounds collection?
