描述
NOTICE: This mod is expected to be adversely affected by the upcoming licence changes to several FWA assets, as such, expect this mod to no longer be in a working state in the near future. I currently don't have plans to rectify this, but I'm not ruling out the possibility. DO NOT complain to the FWA author about this.

Lombakkan Conflict
This mod adds 2 lore friendly factions set in the cold war, the BLUFOR Lombakkan National Defence Force, representing the defence force of what would eventually become South Lombakka. And the OPFOR North Lombakkan Independence Force, aiming to split their land of bountiful resource deposits away from the exploitative South.

The way i figure it, the coastal agrarian South and its western backed regime generates extensive wealth off of resource exports originating from the north as it has to go through Southern ports of entry, with a particular emphasis on utilising foreign companies to exploit the resources. The North however, backed by other African states, chafes under this system and revolts, eventually establishing the country that would become North Lombakka. By ~2035 in canon, these now 2 seperate countries would go to war again in a conflict that would see thousands injured from extensive use of landmines well after an armistice.

Modders and server owners should be aware that the PBO ACM_NLIF is hard dependent on ACM_LOM and will not function properly without it. (You will most likely just get a CTD if you try to run it by itself.


NOTES
- I am NOT taking requests

- BISIGN and BIKEY included
- I DO intend to support this mod in the next GlobMob updates.
- The Spec Ops guys for the LNDF are supposed to be mercenaries, hence the presence of white and asian dudes.


KNOWN ISSUES
- There are no crates for the faction, i couldn't be bothered, maybe later. Inventory items are prefixed [LOM] or [NLIF] if you want to quickly add the right uniforms and whatnot to an arsenal.

Digi Brush headgear was intentionally missing. I wanted them to come across as an army in transition.Otherwise appreciate the comment 👍

excellent work.. one of the best brushstroke camo uniforms (both old and digi) I've seen in game, but it is missing the digi brush headgear (and I would suggest a helmet with cover for the digi in addition to the boonie, think the GM M92 helmet would work well as a bridge between modern and 90s) but otherwise, well thought out and executed.. Thanks :)

Be advised: the Lombakkan mod may currently be broken due to Free World Armoury removing the SIG 510.

Arma does not show exactly were Lombakka is located, however from the general area and trying to match the coast from the map provided in the IDAP wiki I found that the most likely location of South Lombakka is Gabon and/or The Republic of Congo.

Yeah but I mean like other Merc groups...cause there was merc on merc fighting in situations like the Congo and such. Chaos is what Im saying lol

The Lombakkan SF are meant to represent mercenaries employed in the conflict.
