WELCOME TO HACKNEY YARD!! This map is an "ok" representation of the hackney map in modern warfare

▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰

This map includes:

- a wide open pvp area (up to a modest 10v10)

- multiple spawnpoints to ensure no spawnkilling AND to have a nice new spot to spawn if your tired of the same areas...

-no 3d skybox, I made it all in 1 map because for some odd reason hammer didn't cooperate with me.

-custom props

-small details I try to add

Things that didn't make the final cut:

-3d skybox

-the reflective water in the map

-the spraypaint graffiti in the big metal building.

-ai nodes (hammer kept crashing because its... well... hammer... hammer likes to be a beat about the smallest things)

@MrPoker originally yes that was a map on the list but after trying to make it, it was just way too big.

hammer map editor kept crashing. if hammer was stable enough i would have made verdansk.
(that was one of the maps i wanted to make)

Agreed. But I don't experience much issues since I use Hammer++ for my map making. I totally recommend it. All you really have to do is configure it for gmod and you're set with the best editor for source. https://ficool2.github.io/HammerPlusPlus-Website/index.html

That's weird. Hammer shouldn't crash by a small entity. You should probably get that checked out if it's hammer itself that needs some fixing. Otherwise, you could use a Ai node tool addon to create the nodes externally.

I really wanted to add those but the would not run with them. Hammer kept crashing every time I added them.
