Norfolk Southern C40-8W No. 8373

(Yes, that's CSX 3194 pulling wagons loaded with cheese in the third picture).

NS 8373 was built by General Electric in 1993, originally for ConRail as their number 6152 (and as one of 236 C40-8W locomotives that became part of ConRail’s fleet, not counting the LMS lease engines).

CR 6152 was inherited by Norfolk Southern when they bought-out 58% of ConRail stock in the late 1990s, and she remained in her old livery for many years. It wasn’t until 2011 when she was finally repainted in NS thoroughbred black. The engine remained in service with NS until February 2020, when she was sold to Progress Rail.
