Austria Fever 760: ÖBB 2095 Addon

The SGP LDH 600/s diesel locomotive type was created with the intention of displacing uneconomical steam train operation on ÖBB's narrow-gauge lines. In 1958, the first locomotive was presented, which was given the number 2095.01 by ÖBB. In 1960, two more prototype locomotives 2095.02 and 03 followed; these were followed in 1961/62 by series deliveries .04 to .15. For the series locomotives, the installation of a steam boiler was already dispensed with, since it was foreseeable that the trains would in future have heaters independent of the locomotive ("Webasto"). The locomotives were diesel-hydraulic with an SGP-12 cylinder diesel engine and Voith turbo transmission. Their top speed was 60 km/h, their power 440 kW.
