Malware & More
The Malware & More mod adds 8 new fun and detailed software types to your game retaining the vanilla game play we so long for in software inc but yet includes a wide array of virus features and other hacking software even with some crypto-currency involved.

The Malware & More mod is a data mod for newest beta versions and previous versions too. It was tested on beta 1.2 and is highly compatible with other mods.
This is a fun project and I am planning on keeping it updated.
I actually have experience with some of these software and it is fun to lay it out so simple.

  • 1970 Game Cheats (DLL Injections)

Updates log

  • Normalized software type values to the ones of the games assets
  • I've briefly tested the mod and enjoyed playing around with the different software types
  • I've created a youtube video in which I show how to create software type mods
  • Corrected grammatic errors
  • Added Update_Log.txt to root directory of mod to display latest release updates
  • Added console OSSupport to Game Cheats software type
  • Correct unlock years of all software types
  • Changed the random, popularity, iterative, retention & idealprice value of each software type individually
  • Rebalanced (OptimalDevTime) and also each feature DevTime individually
  • Refined all features and descriptions
  • Resized and redo of workshop images
  • All software types in-house options are now false
  • Added more images to workshop displaying software types and features
  • Compressed workshop main image (- 2MB)


Upcoming
  • Create localization in different languages
  • Additional feature scripts (Additional money or risk, adding lawsuits)
  • Consider Hacker Companies/Organizations
  • Add crypto Exchange and Torrent Client software types

There is no negative effects towards other products, it's a cool idea though =P

But yes, you can get sued if you implement dangerous features for each software ^^

Does this actually add negative effects to other products (i.e reducing their ratings because cheaters suck to play against, slight reduction in active user count from banwaves, etc)?
More importantly, can you get sued for it?

Amos, either one of these mods will get you what you want.
One add money objects, the other is a workshop trainer to change the money variable.

I will see when I can add it or even make a separate mod for corporate protection.
