[2.0 Update!]
Bestia is now named "Mori Bestia" and is no longer canonically Isaac's mother. She is now "The Painweaver," an entity whose existence brings the concept and existence of Pain to all realities, including our own.
This update includes:
- New look
- Higher health (Removed due to feedback!)
- New song (Going to be optional via Mod Config)
- Updated outfit (Going to be changeable via Mod Config)
- New cover art/thumbnail
- Bestiary sprite and name
- Dead God and The Beast save art (Going to be optional via Mod Config)
- Dead God achievement art (Going to be optional via Mod Config)
- And more to come! (SUCH AS: Flat chested version, redone mouth, redone face, redone eyes, redone boobs, redone arms, redone hands, new laser animation, goat???, new passive items, playable Bestia)

As of the 2.0 update, the original Bestia will no longer be drawn or updated by me ever again. Like 5 or 6 years ago in a time of depression and poverty, I was offered $4000 for Bestia as a character, and I sold her. I tried to buy her back, but he would not allow me to do so, and I offered to make him a new OC to take her place, and he refused. So, I have replaced Bestia with Mori Bestia.

If you like the old mod, please contact @Snowy_Roads on Twitter/X, as he is now the owner of the OG Bestia, and has all of the mod files on him. Going forward, I will not be continuing any kind of contact with him and will not be working with that character ever again. The "Isaac's Mom" Bestia belongs to him now. The "Painweaver" Bestia, named "Mori Bestia," belongs to me, and is not for sale.

Now then! What is Bestia?

Bestia is the first ever sprite replacer mod for The Beast, transforming her into a big boobi ladie.

This mod includes new music for The Beast fight (made by me!), new art for The Beast, 2x Beast health, and a bunch of extra sprite art sprinkled in across the game.

I'm very happy to announce that I would like to start working on mods for Isaac again, as well as other games in the future, and would love to work with the community on said mods, and even on my own game.

@Lyzz I will be working on Flat Bestia™ today. I can't promise it'll be DONE today, since it's harder than it seems. I have to keep her silhouette the same, which means replacing the booba with her arms folded or menacingly forward otherwise. Since her arms are normally under the lava, that posits a challenge of animating the hands to keep them from being static. This means I gotta enlarge her sprite sheet and add the arms as separate sprites with the moving fingies and all that.

Then, I wanna backport those arms onto the booba'd version so they're on that as well.

THEN I gotta test both.

THEN I gotta make sure MCM compatibility is there so I can make a toggle for Flat and Booba'd.

Then I release the patch.

I am working very hard, and it's unpaid work, but I really wanna do it because I promised 5 years ago that I'd make Flat Bestia™

Hokay so update on MCM: I can't make the save sprites part of MCM, since they load before the game loads.

Since there's no alternate options for Bestia currently, MCM isn't necessary.

In a soon coming update I will be removing the save sprites and will be uploading those to my Patreon (FOR FREE DON'T WORRY) with a link to them in the description here. I tried to upload them as a separate mod and a certain somebody reported the mod so now I can't do that via Steam. Woulda been nice but we can't have nice things with HIM around.

I will also see what I can do to fix the Bestia Background Sprite issue on the OG Bestia mod. Not sure what went wrong, it was literally the same files from the OG mod lmao.

OST mod and flat Bestia coming sooooooooooooooooon.
