Ken Patera

Ken Patera became a pro wrestler a highly decorated athletic career that included represnting the United States in weightlifting at the 1972 Olympic Games.

The powerful Patera wrestled for the AWA, WWWF/WWF, and NWA during the 70's and 80's. Patera challenged Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund for the WWWF/WWF Championship on several occasions and once held the Intercontinental Title while simultaneously holding gold in an NWA territory. Patera was a member of the Heenan Family in the AWA and the WWF.
