Tactical missiles can be intercepted by any laser defense, but its very taxing. A better answer is tactical missile defense, found in the t2 buildlist (looks like a big gun), that *only* shoots down tac missiles however.
Against strategic (ultra long range) nukes, you need strategic missile defense (SMD for short) also found in the t2 build list. This one needs to be armed with payloads (costs credits) to intercept any nuke fired into its aoe. Can also be set to auto restock any expended anti nuke. Some units (i think all of em being in the experimental factories buildlists) can also stockpile and fire anti nukes.
The T2 buildlist is accessible by T2 expansion posts, any T3 builder unit (e.g. hover engineer) and every builder unit from experimental factories (e.g. Experimental Helibase). The ACV gains access to it with the first core upgrade.
this new unit amphibious corvette seems to take no damage from torpedo at all. Is this the intended design for 'torpedo defense'?
it take damage from everything else but torpedo deal 0 damage
not questioning or doubting just wondering since it like i just found a new op units so i just want you to know about it in case this is a bug
