No Random Relations

描述
Description

This mod disables the creation of random relations during the game. No more blood relatives, ex-wives, lovers, etc showing up that should have been left behind. Relationships formed by your colonists during the course of the game, "social" relations, and children (if using a mod which enables such a thing) should have relations generated normally.

Only newly created pawns will be affected. Existing pawns (including ones in the world) will not have their current relationships removed. If you wish to clear those as well, check out RuntimeGC or other mods which can clean up world pawns.

As of the 1.5 Update, I have fixed and resolved any Biotech issues.
As with previous versions, if you find that there are relatives appearing in a playthrough despite having No Random Relations installed, this is normally as of a result of adding mods mid playthrough that add new pawns to the world map, this can be via New Factions, New Races, New Threats, etc. No Random Relations patches all world pawns at the beginning of a playthrough, when everything is generated.

Sorry, i mean could you prevent the "father" relation from randomly generating while allowing others such as "mother" to still generate

This should be a base game option. Really, random relations should be removed entirely. Appalling game mechanic. Random relations make no sense and serve no purpose. Why is this even a thing? Must have mod.

my god yes, i am at the end of my playthrough so im just going around killing hostile bases with my gravship but even before that it seems like every raid/base/anything with enemies theres at least 3 pawn relations which when i can hit a base every 2 days makes it impossible to keep my pawns happy and i just had 3 of them kill eachother and another go catatonic because of pawn relations

It is simply impossible to play when 1 of my colonists lost 27 relatives in 1 major battle. Must have mod for now

Yea I just got a whopping 30 day -50 mood for a single colonist from a SINGLE raid with the guy having 10 relatives show up all at once! Thank god theres a mod for that

Thanks. Every raid now has 8 relatives or something. It's dumb and I only have 8 pawns
