You can now craft a maximum of 100 XP Kibble Broth at a time. Previously, you could only craft 10. This was caused by XP Kibble Pot only allowing 1000 water when irrigated, and each craft consumed 100 water. The pot now allows 10,000 water when irrigated.

This is a new and improved version of our original mod: XP Kibble. We first released that mod just over a year ago and we’re keeping it around as XP Kibble Classic for those who prefer to keep using it.


The main goal behind XP Kibble is to provide a consumable item to feed your tame that will enable it to gain XP at an increased rate. Think of it as a consumable Explorer Note buff. Each flavor of XP Kibble provides a different rate of XP gain for a different period of time.


One of the biggest bummers about XP Kibble Classic was that it had to be crafted in the player inventory. We didn’t yet know how to make a custom crafting station for Ark. In the last year, we’ve upped our modding skills and are now pleased to introduce the XP Kibble Pot crafting station! It crafts all XP Kibble flavors as well as the new custom ingredients/craftables required to make each flavor. Perhaps most importantly, you can now craft all! Before, if you wanted to craft more than two XP Kibbles, you had to babysit your inventory and keep telling it to craft more. We have fixed this issue with XP Kibble 2.0 as well as in XP Kibble Classic!


We completely overhauled the XP Kibble recipes. Each flavor now requires two new custom ingredients: XP Broth and XP Dust. XP Broth is flavor-specific. For example: XP Kibble Superior requires XP Broth Superior. Also, instead of requiring regular Element Dust, each flavor of XP Kibble now requires XP Dust, a similar yet more-advanced version of Element Dust that has absolutely no use outside these recipes. XP Dust enables players to use Element and Element Shards instead of just Element Dust. This can come in handy in later stages of the game when Element and Shards are more readily available.


Element Dust, Element, and Element Shards all convert to XP Dust at perfect efficiency.

• 1 Element Dust = 1 XP Dust
  
• 1 Element Shard = 10 XP Dust
  
• 1 Element = 1000 XP Dust

XP Kibble 2.0 allows users to have more control over the rates and durations of each XP Kibble flavor. Don’t like the power of XP Kibble Tek? You can change the amount of XP it gives your tame when consumed! Or, remove it from the game completely! See the bottom of this page for links to configuration documentation.


There are now SEVEN different flavors (tiers) of XP Kibble: Basic (New), Simple, Regular, Superior, Exceptional, Extraordinary (New), and TEK.


IMPORTANT: If you are familiar with XP Kibble Classic flavors regarding rates, durations, and level unlocks, please note there have been changes! See table below.

• XP Kibble Regular gives the same buff for the same duration as a regular Explorer Note.
  
• XP Kibble TEK attempts to instantly max out your tames levels.
  
• XP Kibble TEK no longer requires Tek Replicator, but unlocks at level 100.

This mod does not alter any core game resources in any way. Load order should not matter and it should not conflict with other mods.

We had a great time re-working XP Kibble into XP Kibble 2.0. Over the past year, my son and I have spent a lot of time learning game development using Unreal Engine. The Ark Dev Kit is based on Unreal, therefore, we were able to also increase our knowledge of Ark modding. It takes a lot of work, even for a little mod like this.
