Information

The Colosseum is an oval amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy.
It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world today, despite its age.

The three emperors that were patrons of the work are known as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheatre was named the Flavian Amphitheatre.

Although substantially ruined because of earthquakes and stone-robbers (for spolia), the Colosseum is still an iconic symbol of Imperial Rome and was listed as one of the New7Wonders of the World.

Use the FindIt! mod, type Colosseum and place the asset. The reason I didn't make it a landmark is because I wanted to give freedom of placement since it is a huge asset and has a weird shape

Note: The asset is not pefect, there are things that are missing cause of game limitations.
Yes it is a big asset, it has 4k textures and 120.000 Tris all togheter, so please use the loading screen mod to share the texture

Any chance of making a "100% restored version"? maybe as park?
Could be nice to see people behaving as audience, even if there is not show in the middle area.

Wow. That is one great asset. I was in Rome a long time ago and now I feel the need to go there again. :)

Would you consider to create Forum Romanum also or some props that would allow to create it by hand?

This is amazing. I was recently in Split and I was marveled at how the city grew inside and around the Roman ruins. Splitting some arches off the Colosseum (both limestone and brick) and having them as standalone props might be an interesting way to recreate the look of the modern city growing over the Roman one.
