Rhenintochter SAM Panther

"Rheintochter was a German surface-to-air missile developed by Rheinmetall-Borsig during World War II. Its name comes from the mythical Rheintöchter (Rhinemaidens) of Richard Wagner's opera series Der Ring des Nibelungen.

Rheintochter was ordered in November 1942 by the German army (Heer). Starting in August 1943, 82 test firings were made. An air-launched version was also designed. The operational version was intended to be fired from a ramp or converted gun mount. The project was cancelled on February 6, 1945."

This is a hypothetical "what if" idea for a WW2 era mobile SAM that Nazi Germany could a put into service. Its actually based off a scaled model i found in a store once. Perfect for alternate history lovers out there!

Three things to know;

first, copying mulitple panthers can cause some bugs. to fix these, double click each panther you place down and change the name of the tank . (i usally just add a number to the end of it). do this to every object attached to it as well (were ever you see "Panther: in the script, just remove the underscored number and replace it with the number of your choice).

second; yes the panther can move in its own, you just have to give it waypoints in editor first. alternatively, if you want to make it static, simple delete the driver.

third, for guidence, you can use any radar device that is on the same side as the panther. i will provide a "guidence station " as a secondary composition. (it uses SOG as well).
