A recon operation in Tanoa

This is a single / coop scenario for 1-8 players.
The scenario can be played on singleplayer and on multiplayer with or without AI


- A NATO recon operation mission in Tanoa.
- Choose your infiltration vehicle for different tactics

A Tanoan terrorist group know as the Syndikat has been acquiring weapons from the black market for the past six months. Normally terrorist groups tend to buy outdated small arms and light weapon systems. Recently the Syndikat has been able to buy high tech and heavy weapons from an unkown group of weapons smugglers. With this new armament the Syndikat has been able gain territory from the Tanoan Goverment. The Syndikat has also been conducting multiple terrorist attacks against western civillian targets around the Horizon Islands.

Two weeks ago NATO sent their Joint Special Operation Forces to train and assist the Tanoan military in their fight against the Syndikat. Despite the ever growing terrorist threat the Tanoan goverment has restricred NATO's mandate to operate within their borders. The mandate is slowly widening, but at this moment NATO's actions are strictly restricted to training, recon and very limited non-offensive SF-operations. The Tanoan goverment has written strict restrictions on NATO's aerial operation in Tanoan airspace.

48 hours ago a trawler ship Spiridonov Vadim was spotted heading for Tanoa. The ship was photographed by NATO satellites and it was seen carrying an IDAP cargo container which is believed to contain high tech and heavy weapons meant for the Syndikat. Spiridonov Vadim was photographed again 24 hours ago. The ship was docked in a previously abandoned port couple of kilometers east of Ill Sainte-Marie. Neither NATO nor the Tanoan government knew that he port is operational, but it is believed to have been rebuilt very recently and secretly by the Syndikat. NATO believes that the usage of the rebuilt port is the Syndikat's primary way of acquiring weapons from smugglers. The state of the port was a shock to the Tanoan Goverment. Because of this the Tanoan Goverment has granted NATO a mandate to conduct offensive SF-operations in Tanoa under the supervision of the Tanoan military. With the Tanoan goverment's blessing, NATO is preparing a SEAL Team recon operation in order to find out if the port and Spiridonov Vadim is used by the Syndikat to smuggle arms into Tanoa...
