for ships a wrong pivot point can sometimes make the ship "twitch/hop", when the game recalculates and sets things according to their pivot point, meaning things with a wrong pivot get moved (usally clip or jump). on POI's a wrong pivot messes up terrain usally (this one is usally more obvious on spawn).
you can fix it by simply runing a console command after you have finished your build.
console command: prefabinfo name_of_build_without_space -clearpivot
(name can use underscores)
PS: the pivot is a bit off it seems.
