Welcome to Rathenheim!
Rathenheim is an european map inspired by some small towns in the Alps such as Altdorf, Walenstadt, St.Gilgen. This is a map adapted for someone want to build a Swiss/Austrian/German style town in Cities Skylines. This map include beautiful nature area, several rivers flowing to lakes, snow mountain and some fields in the valley. Although the buildable area of this map is 82%, it is hard to build a large city because most areas are uneven.

Click here and subscribe all assets and mods before playing.
There are 372,016 trees in this map, so Unlimited Trees Mod is a necessary mod.
You need Mass Transit DLC
Use Theme Mixer 2 and Rethenheim Theme Mix to have a better look.

@BrightHorst Download Theme Mixer 2 and Rathenheim Theme Mix , start the game then load Rathenheim Theme Mix in Theme Mixer 2 menu. You can use Ultimate Level Of Detail (ULOD) to increase the render distance of detailed tree, prop, building and network models.

Started the map with the Alps Dolomites theme, but can't seem to get it to look like it's pictured. Colors seem too bright and green. What am i missing?
There's also an issue with the custom rock and gras assets on the shoreline, as they swap to minimal LOD and de-render almost immediately upon zooming out slightly

Its not working to get all what you need for the land. Just a black side.

@taplattner How is the map theme a problem? You're on the workshop: Grab a mod to allow you to change the map theme to your liking, or to be able to manually place the buildings you want. Are you new to modding this game, out of curiosity?

the problem is the map theme because i can't do any modern skyscrapers in this map. It is an awesome map if you want the whole thing to be old buildings, and the map itself is pretty, but i really need help on finding out how to make modern stuff

Invested like 2 hours into that to find out the main highways are glitched somehow.. Soon as I've started upgrading those, the traffic siezed to be able to go through... kinda bummer....
