Tungsten Class Cruiser

The Tungsten is a large albeit not very expensive cruiser that relies on a mixture of APS and Missiles in combat to deal consistent damage while tanking shots for smaller craft.

The Tungsten uses two mid-sized APS railguns firing accurate and strong AP shells to deal armor damage and occasionally take out internals. The Tungsten is also armed with six large frag missiles, ten medium HEAT missiles, and four medium torpedoes.

For defense the Tungsten has decent armoring, good speed, a lot of interceptors and smoke. The though behind the Tungsten was to create a simple ship that relied on a mix of solid passive defenses and strong anti-missile systems. The goal was to create something that was inexpensive in both cost and consumption.
