NPC Daemon

描述
NPC, NextBot, Entity & Player presets, smart automated squad spawning, drop sets, weapon sets, NPC scheduling, war and chaos.

NPC Daemon allows you to:
  • Customize entity and player presets with 100+ different properties
  • Automatically spawn squads, smartly, around the map
  • Manipulate spawned NPC schedules to seek out or chase enemies
  • Create drop sets for entities and players
  • Create equippable weapon sets for NPCs and players
  • Tweak A LOT of options

The spawning system is smarter than just constantly filling every node on the map. It can use navmeshes, nodes, or neither. It allows per-radius limits and despawning, and will check for things like distance from players, world collision, water level, and more. A player stress & pressure system is included to allow the spawning system to create natural highs and lows.

This addon works great for adding combat to any map or turning them into a battlefield.

Three example profiles are included: a starter kit with normal NPC squads; a VIP defense example where enemies chase after the VIP; and a "chaos kit" which shows off what's possible

Inspired by Jason's Zombie/NPC Invasion addon,
moomoohk & Kiddoneshon's Zombie/NPC Invasion+ update and SMOD's mapadd system

There's always work to do, expect more to come.

@Callsign_Ewok Most of that stuff can be ignored. I've only ever applied a couple settings to the spawnpool and the npcs themselves. I've only ever edited the spawnpool to limit the total number of npcs. Usually just cutting it down from 50 to 25. Aside from that the npcs only ever needed to patrol or constantly seek out for others, stop seeking out when they find an enemy, remove their body on death, do so after a delay, and occasionally add weapons or change their max health/damage scale when necassary. The weapons can be added via the npc preset itself, you only need to screw around with weapon sets if you really want to. Everything else is cool but can be safely ignored until you have more experience.

Okay so I tried using it... it's way too complicated and requires too much trouble just to setup a basic group to start fighting npcs with. I also couldn't get it to work with drgbase nextbots for some reason.

It's powerful and I appreciate that and the features, but wow that layout and means of doing everything needs to be simpler for the user, it's too complicated and there's too many menus.

I need an in-depth tutorial, because I got no idea what I'm doing. Unfortunately, I'm British, so Imgur isn't going to work for me

Okay this is what I needed. Also this sounds alot better then ZINV and some other spawners that have broke for me. Cuta's dynamic spawner has stopped working entirely for me.

Time to try this. ARC9 weapon base notification told me ingame to uninstall ZINV as it apparently breaks ARC9 regarding sounds playing and actually recommended your mod to me!

is ts just dead i mean i see the author still online but the addon hasnt been updated in a while. spawn on ceiling flag is seemingly broken now

Anyone knows how to adjust the NPC Run Speed and make the NPC Always run away from you when you're seen?
