1.7.8b Update: Added Epiphany Tarnished Keeper support, by request! Might do other custom characters if you ask, but don't count on it.
8/19 update: Added ModConfigMenu support! Use it to control if Keepers say the goofiest lines, if Greed talks, and if they smile when you pay enough! :D

Money talks! The dead speak! You know how in every other game the shopkeepers talk to you? This mod gives keepers
60 85 many different lines of dialogue, and does nothing except display text and optionally make them smile. They'll react when you buy items or donate, when you place a bomb in the shop, when you have store-related items or items that can hurt them, and more. They'll disapprove of you cheesing the shop, and treat some characters better than others. They'll only chat to you in Shops and Black Markets, and not in greed mode.

This is my first anything in lua so the code's not the cleanest ever, but all it does is visuals so no risk of gamebreakage. If you have a problem or have any suggestions let me know. If people care about this mod at all then I think I'll make I made the Devil chatty too.

I love this mod dearly, it and the Chatty Devil have really injected a breath of life into the game for me! Fantastic touch with the Shopkeepers commenting on bombs that go off in their shops and don't kill them, too (I got the line "You're scuffing up my nice floor!" and laughed, and then "You scared me!" and felt bad for them).

I love this mod but I had to disable it because of how often it made my game crash, even when just walking around the map.

Doesn't work in Greed / Greedier mode. Will you fix this anytime soon?

Sincerely, I don't know, the only time it didn't work for me was when there was a weird hug that caused Text to appear even when there was no Shopkeeper in the room, but that has been fixed a long time ago.
