Raquel González is a second-generation pro wrestler who signed with WWE in 2016. She competed in the 2017 and 2018 Mae Young Classic tournaments as Reina González, but failed to advance past the first round.

In February 2020, González helped Dakota Kai defeat her rival Tegan Nox and began serving as Kai's muscle, drawing comparisons to Diesel's role alongside Shawn Michaels. González and Kai formed an effective team that led to a win in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the inaugural NXT Women's Tag Team titles.

At TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, González defeated Io Shirai to become the NXT Women's Champion.
