This Scout-class ship is an agile small fighter. Most Federation cadets start their field training with the "Kite".

A good replica of a small capable ship from FTL. It's very cheap, very compact, moderately fast and you'll be able to build it almost right away. It doesn't have much in it, but it's a good enough option for a beginner's ship. It has some capacity for cargo hauling and is equipped with two basic canons in case you need to defend yourself.
