Wallfellow Park Zoo

Founded in 1904, Wallfellow Park Zoo has more than 100 years showcasing and caring for several species. The original zoo was originally conceived as a main street flanked by four large pavilions: The Primate Hall, Reptile House, Feline Hall and Asian House (today, the Night House), the street ended into a large pond and the Flamingo Terrace Restaurant overlooking the zoo. Other exhibits included the warthog's pen (now babirusa), the American Plain's (now part of Bear Trek Area), the Chinese Pavilion and the the African Savanna with it's Elephant House.

With the construction of the Polar Bear Habitat in 1925, the zoo started growing beyond it's original boundaries. By 140, the Polar Bear Habitat had been greatly expanded and around it, grew Water World Area, designed to showcase aquatic animals.

In 1952, the hill that overlooked the zoo was turned into Bear Trek, a series of roads that climbed it up to it's famous Bear Cafe from where you can see the whole park.

In 1982, the old Chinese Pavilion and surrounding areas were entirely remodeled into the Bamboo Forest in order to host the new family of pandas, courtesy of the Chinese Government. While some animals from the Asian House were transferred there. By 1985, the Asian House had been remodeled into the New Night House

In 1998, the Desert Dome was opened, not only revitalizing the zoo but also becoming one of its main attractions, finally 2002, the whole African Savanna experienced a 5 year remodeling that gave the the whole area a more natural look. Most famous of all was the complete revamping of the Elephant House (though the interiors remained mostly the same). The latest addition to the zoo was the African Penguin enclosure in 2016, which became a nice complement to the Water World Area.

This is my second "big" zoo, I tried to make it more realistic and give it the vibe of a "classic" zoo that is slowly modernizing as times change. Hope you enjoy it! Most of the zoo is mined or using in-game blueprints. I only took a couple blueprints from the workshop:
