Eddsworld! Eddsworld! Sorry, who's world is it? EDDSWORLD!

You need CS:S and HL2 EP1 & EP2 to be installed!

Map files:
  • Eddsworld House V1 = "gm_eddsworld_v1"

BUGS
There are unfortunately some bugs in the map, that I wasn't able to fix. They don't make the map unplayable, but they are still annoying bugs!
  • Black shadowy spot between kitchen and hallway.
  • Broken lighting in the caves.
  • Tordbot's guns.
  • Displacements twitching on Edd's backyard.
  • Broken water in Eduardo's wells.
  • Sometimes broken lighting with props, before turning lights off and on.
  • Sound problems. (not effecting players)
  • Front door is pitch black.
  • Most of the decals don't show up in Multiplayer. So if you want to have the full experience of the map, play in Singleplayer.

Q: Will there be V4?

A: No, I might still update something small for V3, but there will never be V4.


Q: Will you make the Eddsworld Ragdoll Pack?

A: Maybe, Maybe, Maybe, Maybe.... (I'm not a good modeler) Also, please, SHUT THE FU-


Q: Why is this map so empty and small?

A: This is literally only the Eddsworld House, I would normally make a huge map, but this shouldn't be that huge, because it's just a normal house. The reason why it's empty, is because this is made for the Sandbox gamemode type, it's your task to decorate this map, ofc there's lots of models and props in this map already, but still.


Q: I found a secret!

A: Shhhh....


Q: Will you make more Eddsworld related maps?

A: No


Q: Can you make the Tordbot move?

A: Unfortunately, no...


Q: Does this map have a Nodegraph and Navmesh?

A: Yes.

@Gusruven9 I do too work one map at a time, although some map ideas I might get bored of and then never work on it. Currently I have a map idea that will hopefully get released and so far it's looking good.

As for the other projects, I meant that I also have other stuff than just Source maps which I should work on.

Oh, I get it, but why not replace the glass on your car with a dark opaque glass texture?

I understand you a little in this regard, I used to suffer from such a thing myself - like procrastination. But now I work more diligently on one card at a time (and not like before, I did one and immediately another)

@Gusruven9 The only mirrors in V3 are the car side-view mirrors and I imagined they wouldn't glitch out that much. There were a lot of mirrors in V1 and V2, but they broke completely in V3 because of optimization stuff (Areaportals) and I removed them completely and turned it into a reference as well. That's just how Source goes unfortunately.

And yes, I've tried and wanted to make a new map for years now and I hope I will actually finish something someday. I have a lot of projects and I tend to procrastinate.

Even at the moment, the map looks pretty good, but there was an error with the mirror in v3. I wonder if you plan to make other maps?
