I'm not sure how to, I'm still trying to learn how to add those files into the .bsp, so far the tool I used to create/update has also stopped working so it won't be a while before that happens.

No, it SAYS specifically that you need CS:S, the base game this came from is CS:S.

As I said, you need to turn it off through GMod's settings. Otherwise, I think it might be mat_hdr 0 or something, you're bound to find it.
