Dogma in Angel Pool

for some reason i do not get the holy mantle from it..

I feel like that's one of the main utilities of Dogma as an Item. Other than the really neat Damage boost and health up, the ability to preserve flight for the Mines Challenge and even keep Dogma after using Genesis or other Run Rerolls is great.

(Also it doesn't take up an item slot for t. Isaac.)

Alright so its not a bug. Dogma is considered a story item and isnt removed for the rest of the run after you pick it up, but it does make for some interesting situations i have to say...

Hey @Czar Khasm, i dont know if anyone is working on this mod anymore but i have found a major bug. During the challenge in the mines where you get the second knife piece, if you get dogma equipped, the game doesnt remove it from you, making you have flight and pretty much giving you an option to cheese the entire section. Just a heads up.

@jsdecorte yeah but that one only changes lasers and brimstone, and also it changes it in general and not only when having dogma

@Losfrail I mean, the item gives flight, soul hearts, and a one-hit shield that expires after exiting the room; things all entirely worthless to The Lost. If anything, I should've given it the "nolostbr" tag so T. Lost couldn't get it at all

i still do think it's rarity should be increased to be of some use to T. Lost, because otherwise they'll never see Dogma (item) and they'll only ever see Dogma (boss).

Oh and the item if they beat the boss but why would you want to R Key to make use of Dogma at that point?

Don't know how hard it would be but could you add the static effect to tears/brimstone?

@The Absolute Radiance iirc, Item Quality has no effect on rarity; the only things it really affects are Tainted Lost and Sacred Orb.
Besides, most items in the Angel Pool have a regular weight, including items that are stronger than Dogma like Sacred Heart, Godhead, Revelation, etc, so keeping it at the same rarity as those makes the most sense to me
