Nadel Class Heavy Cruiser

While the Nadel isn't very big size wise, (less then 120 meters in length) this craft aimed at godly difficulty in my faction packs a substantial punch.

The Nadel was designed to fill a unique roll in the fleet as a versatile ship that could deal with any target type with ease.

The Nadel accomplishes this difficult task with its primary weapon, a massive particle cannon system using AA lenses consuming around 80,000 energy per second in combat. The PAC alternates between several firing times and damage types depending on the target it is facing allowing the Nadel to quickly deal with small and large crafts.

The Nadel is also armed with 12 large frag missiles, a frontal AA/CIWS gun, and four rear large torpedoes.

The Nadel is powered by a compact steam engine that provides a massive amount of energy with ease. This engine is both what makes the craft so effective, and also a main built in weak point to compensate for the strong offensive capabilities of the craft.

Some other built in weaknesses are the lack of shielding and LAMS systems on board the craft along with the lack of anti-missile systems on the deck.

Defense wise, the Nadel has decent armor, speed, a solid smoke system, four multipurpose interceptor systems on the bottom of the craft, and a radar decoy system above the mast in combat.
