Backstory: Informants are an important part in combating terrorists and insurgents as they provide can provide intel that can be crucial. Informants are easier to recruit in Uregistan because the population is split between different actors and will gladly give up information for some compensation.

Briefing: We received a phone call from the wife of one of our informants. Armed insurgents have broken in to their home and killed her husband before dragging him out of the house. She has locked herself in the bathroom and has her husbands gun for protection. Eliminate the hostilies and make sure the wife is safe.
Uregistan was ruled by Aabid the III and his son and prince Farid the II the heir to the throne. It was a stable country until natural disasters destroyed the main industrial area in Uregistan which crippled the economy and resulted in increased poverty and lack of food and water. Extremist groups used to opportunity to recruit people and start a rebellion with ended with the death of Aabid the III by a mob and his son Farid the II being imprisoned by the rebels.

Several countries reacted to this as well as the UN which demanded a cease of hostilities and the release of prince Farid the II. The demand by the international community were not met and a task force was formed to help establish a new democratic goverment and bring peace to the country.
