CDDA Reading

I always hated grinding out Metalworking/Electricity/Mechanics every game. I liked how CDDA did their skill leveling which is by sitting in a dark corner and reading a book. This mod enables you to do that.

How does it work?

This works with all books in the game even modded ones

Each page you read will give experience rather than a multiplier. This will allow the player to level mechanic/metalworking/electrician/etc skills without the grind of removing car parts, deconstructing 1000's of tables throughout town, making the same items 100's of times over.

With B42 the developers have allowed customization of speed it takes for each page to be read in literature. Any kind of edits can be made in there if this feels too powerful, or too difficult.
