Gramado & Canela

1. Subscribe the mod Image Overlay Renewal here and activate it in the game.
2. Download the map/grid of streets here[drive.google.com].
3. Put the file in the folder " C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\Files\" of your computer.
4. In the game, activate the overlay pressing "Ctrl + I".
5. Adjust the image to fit correctly in heightmap.

- Even though Snowfall DLC is required, no mods are needed (vanilla).
- The first tile is the nearest of downtown that comply with rules of the game.
- The center of map is in the middle of Travessa Olinda Street (-29.37229°;-50.84013°).
- To comply with rules of the game, some streams became rivers.
- Heightmap was made at https://cs.heightmap.skydark.pl/ at 125% scale (Auto Settings).
- The overlay layer was made with Multi Map Downloader, using OpenStreet Map, in the following corrdenates: -29.29213;-50.93193;-29.45239;-50.74818.
- Despite of the real city nowdays don't have trains, a railway based on old Taquara Canela Railway, including the famous Rabicho Ferroviário of Várzea Grande has been added.
- Key points of the city was marked with some enviroments items.
- Some ressources not naturaly found was added for fun.

"Canela, meaning Cinnamon (or shin) in Portuguese, is a town located in the Serra Gaúcha of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Both Canela and neighboring Gramado are important tourist locations and they both draw many visitors each year. Ecotourism is very popular in the area and there are many opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding and river rafting.
The main tourist attraction in Canela is the Parque do Caracol, the Cathedral of Stone, and Caracol Falls (Cascata do Caracol). Like sister town Gramado, Canela is a large tourist draw during the winter, where snowfall can occur, and during the Christmas holiday and the local town council deck Canela with lights and other festive decorations. Canela is part of the Rota Romântica or Romantic Route, a scenic bypass.
An imitation of the Montparnasse derailment has been built outside the Mundo a Vapor ("Steam World") museum theme park in the city.

Gramado is a small tourist city, southeast of Caxias do Sul and east of Nova Petrópolis in the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the Serra Gaúcha region. The city was originally settled by Azorean descendants and later received a contingent of German and Italian immigrants. Gramado is one of the cities along the scenic route known as Rota Romântica (Romantic Route).
Gramado has several green areas, the most important are Black Lake, Communications Square, Knorr Park, Orchard Park, Major Nicoletti Square and, Roses Square.
Black Lake is the most known, visited green area of Gramado. It was created in 1953 by Leopoldo Rosenfeld on an area it was the biggest woods of the Hydrangeas' Region, this very area had been destroyed by fire in 1942. It was named after Good Rest Valley (Vale do Bom Retiro) before fire.
A creek was dammed up to create a U-shaped lake. Rosenfeld imported pine seedlings from Black Forest in Germany to be planted all around the newly formed lake's rim.
Black Lake is a mile away from Town Hall. There is a boathouse, working daily from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, concession stands and a small craftsmen fair nearby.

The cities are in a mountain range, averaging 850 meters above sea level. Visitors from Northern Hemisphere mid-latitudes may notice several tree species (including Red Maple, American Sweetgum and American Tuliptree) common to their home territory in cultivation here, flourishing among the native Parana Pine. - Despite this map no require mods, to recreate a real city is needed some that overlaps the real map in the game. We used Image Overlay Renewal and recommend it. Use the grid linked here [drive.google.com] (rename to "overlay", use '.' and ',' to adjust size). You can also create it by yourself using your favorite map.
- We realy recommend to use 81Tiles Mod to access many ressources that are not include in the center 25 tiles.
- If your intent is reproduce a faithfulness copy of real city, we realy indicate to know the sites of Master Plan, at:
