The first of my mods I will be releasing!

Loyal Lir adds an entirely new Wilderness scouting event which focuses on a village guardian; Lir.

Lir is a twofold companion: As a pet, and can also be summoned in combat with following abilities:

Grapple enemies, shredding their armour and rendering them immobile
Pounce - bashing his enemies
Bite - ripping whatever's between his jaws to shreds!

04/08 - Lir can now wall with allies and open doors
- Minor health boost

After combat's complete he'll return to his master's side. As a guardian spirit, he does not age. Currently he does not offer passive bonuses to stats like the Avenger bunny, though suggestions welcome.

Disclaimer: If you already have a pet, Lir will not be added!

I really love this mod! It is the only one that I have found that adds a pet that can get into combat with your party. I like Lir's model and art style because it goes well with the Wildermyth art theme. However, I do have a critique. So I noticed when Lir enters combat it seems like he has max vision range. Like you can see everything that is not blocked by a wall, a door, or hard cover for example. Is this something you would be able to fix? It's a bit game breaking because the fog of war is essentially removed with him on the field.

have a glitch where Lir stopped moving during an escape mission and has softlocked my game? any suggestions?

Any chance you could look into a bite ability that can be assigned to characters? ^^
Without requiring a wolf's head, would be nice to create vampire characters and stuff haha

In response to Eothorn and Popemaster:

The armour seen in the screenshot is part of a mod I made as a gift to my girlfriend, I haven't poked the game in quite a while so unfortunately I can't promise it'll be released, if I do come back to this game, I did start work on some armour skins that could synergize with other armour mods.

Unsubbed and resubbed to force the update, it works now! It's a good thing you took the time to fix this despite not being active, now people will get to experience your work in full :)
