Norfolk Southern SD70ACC Add-On Pack

(Requires Halton's EMD SD70 Mega Pack).

(This pack includes retextured versions of NS 1800 and 1801, as well as an extra five number variants).

(1806 is a re-upload of my old re-skin, while 1823 is the rebuilt NS 2542; an SD70 I've previously recreated. 1832, 1834 and 1847 were requested by FerrariGamingYT).

The SD70ACC is yet another design from Norfolk Southern’s rebuilding addiction. All 52 of them are rebuilt SD70s, and the rebuilds were carried out between March 2018 and December 2019. The engines were converted from DC to AC traction motors, and equipped for DPU service (as well as Positive Train Control compatibility). Also included in the rebuild was the replacement of the old cab and electrical cabinet with a newly-designed cab that looks like an SD70ACe.

NS 1800 and 1801 - the first two SD70ACCs - were finished in 2018, and they are painted in a special grey and yellow livery; the yellow representing Progress Rail (a Caterpillar subsidiary that bought out EMD). The other SD70ACCs are all in standard Norfolk Southern black. Some of the engines, such as 1806, have special markings on the cab-sides that read ‘DC to AC ~ SD70ACC’.
