This is how they should look. That key-lime pie color in vanilla was/ is just completely jarring to look at. Thank you for "fixing" the snakes. Take my points

I love this because it makes the medusa just a bit less horny neckbeard looking.

If this could be combined with the feral Medusa mod (which removes the funny breastplate from the regular medusae and converts them to "adult only" units :D) that would be splendid!
