The best rivalries challenge you, push you outside of your comfort zone to become better.

Also, wow, their face is super annoying and just wait until they see this, ha!

This mod adds some short, simple events to help deepen a rivalry. (The higher level the rivalry, the bigger the”Oh Yeah? Watch This!” bonuses in a battle.) I’d say my events portray a pretty lighthearted rivalry with a lot of banter. They’re not actual enemies, after all, just those friends that try to one-up each other all the time. Most of the events grant helpful small bonuses to battles as well.

There are 7 pre-battle events, 1 post-victory event, and a few tidings.

@G I forgot about this entirely, but no. The mod I found popping up the most repeatedly was the romance once.

*slides in a year late* Something fun about Wildermyth is that it prioritizes events you haven't seen yet! My events have the default settings for an event to occur. This mod doesn't overwhelm other events--the game itself is prioritizing them because you haven't seen them yet!

@the_moidart Do you have more event mods than just this one installed? I'm not sure if that will work, but maybe more events from the workshop will help space the rivalry ones out? I'm going to sub to this one and see. Hopefully it won't override the other custom events I've subscribed to.
