MZA 1700 series (RENFE 2-4-1 2000 series)

Released in 1925, the MZA 1700 was the largest and powerfull locomotive in Spain at the time, untill the arrive of the Aragon Central Railway garrat locomotives on 1932. Used for express and huge cargo trains, this engine became the most iconic locomotive of the company, being know as the Queen of the Spanish railways.

After the creation of the RENFE state company, the MZA 1700 were renamed as 2-4-1 2000 series. They keep pulling express trains untill late 50s, after that they were moved to secondary services.


This mod adds to the game the RENFE 2-4-1, ex MZA 1700 series, steam locomotives. Includes five liveries and assets for decoration.
