Based on people report, this mod is breaking atm - I have no time to update it yet so just want to let other people know to not install it for now ^^!

Update Notes

Features
  • Farm any Raw Materials as long as the modifier text is correct (Should work with any map)
  • Hunting Duration and Output affect by Thrall Tier, TaskMaster Tier, Material Grade and Tool Harvest DPS
  • Almost all Multiplier/Reduction are adjustable via Config Menu
  • Chance for Farmer Thrall to die based on Thrall Tier (can be disable)
  • Chance for Tool Durability Loss based on Fuel Grade (can be disable)
  • Custom progress text to know when a hunting round will be done (% on crafting queue)
  • Custom detail timer when hover on crafting queue

This mod will add a new Feat - Slave Farmer cost 1 point which will teach you to craft Thrall Farmer Machine
The machine is just a recolor of the lesser wheel of pain with new GUI
Just follow the GUI info and it should works :)
Machine use Food as fuel - same as wheel of pain

Toggle Config Menu (Admin Only)

Compatibility
Should work with any new resources as long as the modifier text is correct
Currently the mod check for
  • 1st modifier - crafting ingredient | ingredient
  • 3rd modifier - ingredient | raw
  • Some exception (example ice - which have modifier quenching)

Roadmap
Final version for now - until I have new idea to enhance it (and time)
Will prob update only if it broke from game update

Is this a cheat?
  • I tried my best to only allow raw materials (example: ironstone OK | iron bar NOT OK), but will prob miss a lot
  • Feel free to comment/feedback so I can blacklist more
  • Will prob add a way to blacklist them manually via config later (still lazy to do)

Know bugs
  • The custom progress/crafting queue sometimes bug out - start/stop machine or just turn off GUI and reopen might help
  • Please comment if you found more bugs

Love the idea, please keep up the work as you can. The modder community seems to do FAR far better work than the dev's.

I LOVE this mod. It still works post Age of Sorcery (as of Sep 2nd, 2022), but it does make existing Wheels of Pain turn invisible (but still usable). My advice is get your thralls all captured and broken, then deconstruct your wheels and put in ThrallFarmers instead.

That being said, I wish this mod used something different than the basic wheel. Some sort of planning area with existing resources would look better- kind of like the posts you can build in "Metal Gear Survive" where NPCs organize their hunting and gathering forays instead of a single person groaning at a wheel. I probably should learn to mod or put my money where my mouth is and donate to Ken.

Will confirm that wheel of pain is still invisible when this is installed. I'm not up enough to test if it actually works or causes crashes. Very sad. This is one of my top 5 mods. Tried it in singleplayer on Savage Wilds map.
