HalfMod
A Half Life 2 Co-Op Mod with Sandbox Features


Features:
  • Play and transition between HL2 maps in multiplayer!
  • Allow for Sandbox models and building under the campaign!
  • Keep track of player items and position between maps!

Usage:
Simply host your server under the HalfMod gamemode and start a campaign map!

Known Issues
HL2's episodes are, unfortunately, broken under Garry's Mod's engine; though a fix for the animation problem is in development, there remain a few key map issues which will render the episodes uncompletable without noclip.

Currently, if players are too far away on map change, they'll spawn out of world bounds--I intend to fix this in the next patch.

The first map has a lot of invisible walls and general scripting issues for multiplayer; unfortunately, noclip's necessary to make it through.

Doesn't seem to work with HL: Source. Every other time, it refuses to change maps

even tho it resets BUT GYATT IT WORK TO GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL not recommended with map that requires to go back and forth cuz it doesnt save the previous level

...Why is this mod replacing the Sandbox map category with its own?

It's literally just the Sandbox category with a different name and the Sandbox category is nowhere to be found.

The loading zones wont work and i just get stone behind the doors, any help?

Good news,there is a companion mod you can use with this mod to play Episodes.

This mod allows you to play Half-Life 2 Episodes. Some of them are still buggy but this is the best model replacer i found and it works with this mod.

Supports multiplayer as well.

Also a little problem,some NPC's that supposed to follow you SOMETIMES doesn't follow you. To fix this simply just do an admin cleanup and it will fix itself.

And reapeatitive voicelines are sometime stucks but thats not a problem.
