[6P] The Golf War

This map originally began as me thinking of a terrible pun of the Gulf War becoming the Golf War, as in it being fought within a recreation golf course as opposed to the Persian Gulf. At any rate, this flat map features a simple 18 hole map, or as it appears in this map: 18 resource pits. The map itself is 275x275 tiles (according to tiled, no I haven't personally counted), and features 6 spawn points, with points 1, 3, and 6 in the north of the map, and points 2,4, and 5 in the southern part of the map.

The production of this map took around 4 hours in total, and balance considerations were made primarily with the AI, and little with multiplayer. That being said, this is balanced with my mod collection in mind (Link: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1912410305), and so I can confidently say that I have not tried this in vanilla. Fair warning, I'm not the most experienced mod develouper so far as maps go, so it may be a tad rough around the edges (hence the questionable image quality seen above). Even despite this, the map will work as intended in-game.




Sorry about the radio silence and lack of updates for my other mods, as well as creation of future mods. Last year my external hardrive containing this game and everything I had created mod-wise was fully corrupted, and subsequently my computer died shortly after. I only now actually have a working computer, and I hope to get things back and started on new mods and updates, but it will be curious to see how Steam responds to me updating a mod with a non-current .dat file. Hopefully more content is coming!
