There's a mod that does (basically) the same thing this mod did, but for 1.4

Any chance for 1.4? If not do let us know! Its better to know if a mod gets unsupported than remain in limbo.

This restriction makes no sense at all. Some of the greatest works of art in the ancient/classical world were made by slaves. In much of the Muslim world Slaves were generals and soldiers and all kinds of critical roles. Not all slavery is the new world chattel type. Come on Tynan, open a history book.

Caught myself a research grandma and would like to put her to work. I see how restricting slavery balances the game a little, but people have been forced to gain knowledge for others for ages, so it doesn't break my immersion. If you know a mod, please hit me up. :)

hey, i noticed you made this mod by directly overwriting the Art workdef; you can do it MUCH less intrusively with XML patching, and if you dont know how to do it i can gladly supply a patch to work with

I think the Social restriction makes sense, but I'd love a mod that lets them research, do art, and synthesize drugs. I don't really see why they can't do those things

Finally, I can make basement art goblins in Rimworld too!

Being unable to do art is ok i guess but you can't even see their art skill level so..
