Do you enjoy playing with the Random New World (RNW)? Well, I do. However, when you play with RNW, freed colonies cannot change tags as they normally would without the RNW. This mod changes that by allowing former colonial nations in a RNW to become a random country.

Although the tags and flags correspond to the colonial nations in the game such as the USA or Peru, the countries will NOT receive their unique ideas or missions trees. The names will also not be their normal names, instead they will be fantasy names. Each tag has its own unique name.

It's worth noting that the decision truly is random. Should you as a human play the country, you will NOT be able to choose which country you become, it is randomly assigned. I fully admit that this is because I don't feel like creating a long sub-menu event chain. This mod was created because I was annoyed that former colonies in RNW games didn't get new names or flags and this solves that gripe.

Updated for Origins. And by updated, I mean I changed the version number. Should still work the same.

Even easier, they just added proper weighting to make sure the RNW nations stopped getting them. I don't know why they haven't.

You know, something I'd really like for RNW is instead of creating a completely randomized National Idea set for every NW faction it instead picked them from a list of premade ideas depending on terrain, religion, culture, etc. Because the ideas like increased militarization or harmony or imperial authority REALLY make me cringe whenever I see them on a animist tribe in the arctic circle...
