Please note there is a reported bug though unconfirmed where having research complete while the rimsearch window is active may cause a game hardlock thus losing your progress. Testing seems to indicate it works fine but it's possible some combinations of events or older versions may have this issue

Ever wanted to easily find a certain item after a trade on the map or where one of your named animals are? Then this mod is for you!

Default keybinding for opening the search window is 'Y'. Can be rebound.

Search for:
*Pawns by name or kind.
*Pawns belonging to colony.
*Things by their name.
*Across multiplie maps.
*With one click you can go to your pawn, thing or location!

Changes:
- 1.3 recompile + version backward compatibility (only 1.3 tested but should be fine down to 1.0)
- 1.2 - just version change
- Updated to work with 1.1 - note I barely have any idea what I'm doing so hopefully this works
- Updated to work with 1.0
- Translate to Spanish

Updates
- 2018-11-04 Automatic select all objects with "selectAll Button"
- 2018-11-11 Search mineable things and result list ordered

okay turns out the instructions were just really damn confusing, if you are gonna use symbols just say "equals" dont put the = sign

it wont work for me, nothing appears no matter what i do. (can provide screenies or whatever you want)

Yeah it would be really great if this could find items loaded onto pack animals. Would be an enormous quality of life benefit for nomadic runs.

also can it not search plants or am I misunderstanding how the search term flags work? trying to work out where the anima tree is on this map lol

Hey, this mod is unable to find items loaded onto pack animals.
you can recreate this by sending a caravan and then trying to search for items when you're on the "mining" map
