Easier Flood Resist Duct Block

描述
This duct block slows flooding from above and stops flooding from below.

Steps to install the duct block:

  1. Open your submarine with the submarine editor.
  2. Find out the hull volume by selecting the hull (one at a time).
  3. Set the value of the memory components respectively.
  4. Choose a wait time. Longer wait time will work better on preventing flood but poorer on water draining. If you have no idea, just use the default value 1.5.
  5. Set the value of delay component equals to the wait time.

The duct block behaviours the same as Flood Resist Duct Block, but easier to configure.

This mod is not intended for studying the wiring. If you want to understand the logic behind the duct block, it will be a lot clearer to look at Flood Resist Duct Block.

thank you Sir yea i found it out a little bit later when i looked up the optimal floating numbers ^^ for the nav terminal

Regarding step 2, find out the hull volume by the following steps:

1. Open a submarine in the Submarine Editor.
2. On the menu at the top, select Toggle visibility > Hulls.
3. Those blue rectangles are the hulls, select one of them.

A box should be shown on the top, the Selected hull volume is the value we are finding.

if you talk about step 2 the hull volume you talk about max healt?

The instruction to configure the wait time was wrong.

The correct value to be set in the delay component should be equal to the wait time. That is, 3 seconds delay will make the duct block to open and check the change of water level every 3 seconds.

I have updated the mod’s description.
