CMR-76 5.8 mm Variant

This mod adds a seperate variant of the CMR-76 DMR that uses the chinese 5.8x42 mm cartridge like its real counterpart, the QBU-88. This weapon obviously does less damage but compensates this with extremely low weight for a DMR and an incredibly high muzzle velocity of over 1000 m/s. Together with the high accuracy of the base weapon, this makes hitting targets at range a cakewalk. Also included are two new magazines for this weapon, one with 10 rounds (like the real weapon) and one with 20 rounds (like Arma's rendition).

The CMR-88 is available in all three color variants.

Compatibility

The CMR-88 uses a new MagazineWell called "CMR88_58x42". Use this if you want to make new magazines that this weapon can use. As for attachments, some mods will work, some don't, I may add more compatiblity in the future (RHS works!)

Language

All weapons and magazines are translated to every available language of Arma 3.

Weapon Statistics

The CMR-88 has a reduced weight of 100 Units (on par with MX) and an extremely high muzzle velocity of 1060 m/s (highest in the game). Statistically, this makes the CMR-88 the most effective DMR when it comes to long range accuracy. This is balanced by the lower damage of the 5.8x42 mm cartridge of course.
